Sister Marilyn Ross – Executive Director
Sr. Marilyn has been with Holy Name Housing Corporation for 25 years. She was instrumental in establishing Omaha 100 and South Omaha Affordable Housing. Sister Marilyn currently serves as Chair of the Board of the Equity Fund of Nebraska, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the College of St. Mary. |

Joe Vaughan – New Construction Supervisor
Joe has over 32 years experience in the construction industry. Hired by Holy Name Housing in 1981, Joe was promoted from the construction crew to Rehab Supervisor. In 1995, Joe was promoted to construction manager of HNHC’s new houses. In this position, he oversees all aspects of new construction and has been responsible for the construction of 247 homes in North Omaha neighborhoods.

Shawn Vaughan – Rehab Supervisor
Shawn joined the Holy Name Housing Corporation Construction crew in 1983 as a carpenter. In 1995, he was promoted to the Supervisor of Housing Renovation. He oversees the work of subcontractors and HNHC construction workers.
“I enjoy the work and the long time employees we have here. I especially like the satisfaction of watching an old home come back to life.”

Thomas Vaughan – Housing Coordinator
Tom was hired as Housing Coordinator in January of 1998. Tom’s previous ten years experience as a member of HNHC’s rehab crew gave him a good understanding of the product HNHC delivers to the neighborhood. Mr. Vaughan coordinates the organization’s marketing, sale and/or rental of single-family homes; representing both the Corporation and the homebuyer through the loan underwriting process. Tom also oversees property management for the Corporation.

John Boone – Property Manager
John came to work for HNHC as a construction worker. In 2001, he accepted the position of Property Manager. In this position, John is responsible for overseeing HNHC rental projects, compliance with tax credit regulations and implementation of HNHC’s warranty program.

Terry Frazier – Rehab Crew
A resident of North Omaha, Terry joined the rehab crew in 1984.
“I had a chance to do a final walk through with a home buyer the other day and the joy on her face and expressions of how much she loved the house filled me with pride for our work.”

John Gohr – New Construction Assistant
John joined the NHNC staff in 1984. Originally a member of the rehab crew, John currently works as an assistant to the new Construction Manager.

Andy Sheard – CROWN Maintenance
Since 2003, Andy has worked on HNHC's rehab crew. In 2004, he was assigned maintenance duties on HNHC's 84 CROWN properties. In this position, he works with the property Manager to instruct CROWN tenants on preventative maintenance.

Melodie Ryan
Melodie joined the staff of HNHC in 2006. Her extensive experience in customer relations is essential in treating our clients with respect and dignity.

Sr. Claire McCaslin, OP
Since 1982, Sr. Claire McCaslin has served as the Resident Property Manager of Leo Vaughan Nanor. The Manor is a historic renovated building with 37 units for low-income elderly. In addition to working with the tenants and overseeing maintenance at the Manor, Sr. Claire assures that the project is in compliance with the low-income housing tax credit regulations.

Pat Albright – New Construction Assistant
Pat is a longtime resident of the Holy Name neighborhood and joined the staff in 1996. he initially worked on renovation projects and is currently assisting the New Construction Manager.

Lisa Burks – Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper
After graduation from college, Lisa Burks joined HNHC as a volunteer. In 1986 she was hired as a bookkeeper and in 1990 assumed the duties of Administrative Assistant. Lisa has completed her formal education for Certified Public Accountant. She serves as the organization's bookkeeper and assists in the preparation of documents and reports to government agencies, and lending institutions.
