Q What kind of programs do you have?
A Both of our programs are focused on home ownership. Our first program is to assist you with buying a completely renovated or new home. Our second program is to rent a home with the long term goal of becoming a homeowner.
Q How do I get an application?
A You may download an application from our Website. You may request a copy through the mail via our contact us page, or by phone 402.453.6100.
Q Do I have to have good credit for your programs?
A Buying: Yes, you have to have good credit to buy a home from us. Credit questions can be directed to Tom Vaughan, our housing counselor. He can be reached at 402.453.6100 or by email at

Renting: If you want to rent a home and have minor credit problems, we will assist you in getting them cleared up.
Q Can I buy or rent a home if I have had a bankruptcy?
A The bankruptcy must have been cleared for 2 years in order to buy a home. The bankruptcy must be discharged in order to rent a home.
Q Do you have 4 and 5 bedroom homes for sale or rent?
A
The majority of our homes for sale are 3 bedrooms. Once in awhile, there will be a refurbished 2 bedroom home. Our rental homes all have 3 bedrooms.
Q Can people with Section 8 rent a home with Holy Name Housing?
A
Yes, people who get help with Section 8 can rent from us.
Q Where are your homes located?
A
Our homes are in North Omaha. The boundaries are generally East of 60th St between Hamilton and Curtis. View our Service Area map.
