Financially Support Holy Name Housing Corp this Year
Increasingly, generous individual Americans see this area of the
economy as an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of
individuals, families, and communities. Home ownership is a productive
way that many communities can leverage the dollars they are already
spending on education and social services. They can enter partnerships
that support increased home ownership for lower-income families and
watch for improvements in school performance; reduction in teen
pregnancy, violence and a more stable and efficient economy.
Holy Name Housing Corporation is supported through federal funding,
private foundations, local corporations, and individual donors.

“Build houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; take wives, and beget sons and daughters;…that you may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray to the Lord for it; for in the peace of the city you shall have peace.”
(Jeremiah 29: 5-7)

“Home ownership creates more stable households in safer neighborhoods. Better schools. More cohesive communities. Citizens who are more active and involved. Communities with higher levels of home ownership have lower crime levels, lower expenditures for support to their criminal justice systems, and more secure tax bases.
Flexible, low-cost housing capital is an investment in the common future, the larger economy.”
